My 24th B'day

First of all, I want to thank you for all my family, friends, relatives, and every body who gives their best wishes for me.

Okay, lets the story begin. This b'day a bit different from the earlier. Why? Because it's Saturday and I can't stay my butt till noon on bed coz I have to go to BNI'46 for some survey at 9 sharp there!

We went to a room, and I started to curious when I saw an extraordinary huge mirror on the right side of the room when we entered from the door. Then when I take a look on the room, I found 2 cameras.

The conversation took more than 2 hours. and it finished about 1.30 PM. Then Denty and I went to EX for lunch. Well, actually we got some money from that survey and I got extra coz I had to blog for a week. Isn't it great? Got pretty much money on your b'day? hohohoho.

What's the special from my 24th b'day is not only that I got extra money, but also I got greetings from plenty of unexpected people! Many of them who had lost contact for years even more than 10 years never communicate and suddenly he left a b'day greeting on you email! Isn't it great? Beside that, what also makes it special is I received an email from my very big boss at the office!

And now is the first day of Ramadhan where we all muslims in the world required to do fasting for a whole month and then we will celebrate a joyful ied!

LoNg Night JourneY

Tadi malem waktu lagi nunggu kabar dari kk, ternyata dia gak tau bisa pulang jam brp karena di kantornya masih ada problem. Good! Padahal disini lampu dah dimati2in dan rasanya sepi, hening, dan mengerikan. Apalagi di lorong marketing yang gelap gulita itu! Hiii...

Akhirnya gw putuskan untuk pulang ke rumah sendiri. Bulan ini, karena mobil amat sangat teramat lama masuk bengkel gara-gara si Mayasari Bhakti sialan itu, akhirnya gw harus mengeluarkan duit lebih untuk naik taxi. Bayangkan, rumah gw di Kelapa Gading, kantor gw di Tendean! Dari ujung ke ujung bukaaaan?!?!?!?! Gimana gak miskin coba gw bulan ini? Apalagi sekarang tanggal tua.

Akhirnya gw pikirin cara terefektif dan termurah untuk pulang ke rumah. Waktu lagi mikirin itu jg datang banyak godaan yg bisikin gw, udah langsung naik taxi aja ke gading dari depan Tendean Plaza. Tapi malaikat hemat pun datang berbisik, "Jangan jadi anak boros! Duit dah seret juga! Emangnya Tendean-Gading deket?? Belum macet disana sini. Bisa2 naik taxi dari sini habis more than 100K IDR". Ok, akhirnya bisikan malaikat yang lebih dominan.

Aa pun nelpon gw, dia bilang kalau dia tau dari sorean mungkin dia masih sempet untuk jemput gw, tapi saat itu dah sekitar jam 7 kurang dan dia lagi ada di Cipinang. Can imagine how long should I wait for him in this creepy office room?

Akhirnya jam 7an gw nyebrang ke depan Tendean Plaza. Trus naik 602 ke Setia Budi Building. tadinya mau naik taxi dari situ, tp pas diliat-liat TJ gak gitu padet dan gw jg dah lamaaaaaa bgt gak naik TJ. Terakhir naik TJ thn 2006 waktu skripsi di Conoco yang di Gd.BNI '46.

Gw pun naik TJ. Ternyata TJ dari Kuningan gak langsung ke Matraman, tapi kita harus transit dulu di Menteng Wadas. Dan disitulah sekita jam 1/2 8 malem kerumbunan manusia bak semut padeeetttt bgt. Duh,, gak lagi2 deh!

Akhirnya gw dapet jg setelah lewat 2 TJ. Di dalemnya pun masih padet, jd harus berdiri. Tapi untunglah di Jakarta masih ada pria gentle. Pas ada tempat kosong di depannya, dia gak duduk, tapi malah ngasih tau gw yg posisinya ngebelakangin dia, nyuruh gw duduk disitu. Wahh, gw kaget dan seneng bgt. Gak nyangka di Jakarta hukum wanita harus didahulukan masih berlaku. Akhirnya gw duduk dg nyaman sambil mikir nanti turun dimana ya?

Pengennya turun di Pramuka, biar naik taxinya gak terlalu deket ke gading. Kalo terlalu deket kan gak enak juga sama supirnya. Ehh, pas diliat-liat kondisi jalan Pramuka kok mengerikan yaaa??? Sepi-sepi gituh di pinggir jalannya. Hii,, kalo gw diapa-apain gimana?

Pengen turun di depan Arion tapi takut bisnya gak berenti dan susah cari taxi Blue Bird yg kosong. Akhirnya gw putuskan turun di depan Labs. Yaa, skalian itung2 kenaikan tarif taxi sejak thn 2001-2002. Dulu kan kalo pulang naik taxi biasanya sekitar Rp12000-18000.

Cukup lama juga yaaa, taxinya gak lewat-lewat... Akhirnya steelah 10 menit menunggu ada juga taxi Blue Bird kosong yang lewat. Akhirnya gw bisa sampe ke rumah. Hmm, ternyata kok perbandingan argo sama jaman dulu gak jauh beda ya?

Dulu tuh sekitar tahun 2001-2002 dalam kondisi yang berbeda-beda, rata-rata argo taxi dari Pemuda-Simphony paling murah 12000, paling mahal 18000. Sekarang pada pukul 8 mlm yang amana jalanan juga gak kosong-kosong amat, argo taxi dengan jarak yang sama hanya Rp23000. Selisihnya cukup seikit hanya Rp5000. Padahal kenaikan argo taxi antara tahun tersebut kan cukup besar.

Yaa, sutralah yang penting gw bisa sampe ke rumah dengan selamat.

Tapi kalo disuruh ngulang lagi, kalo gak terpaksaaaaaaa banget kayaknya gw gak mau deh!

Sumpede... Cuapeeee buaaangeeetttzzzz dan kaki pegel buangeetzzz rasanya lutut mau copot!

Ball Room Dance

Last Friday night, (August 22, 2008) I went to FF Pacific Place after tiresome works... Actually, I went there to attend Latin Salsa class just like I always do, but I didn't noticed that the schedule has been rearrange. The Latin Salsa class has been moved to Saturday noon, and the class on Friday night is Ballroom Dance. What a great coincidence! I always want to learn Ballroom Dance coz I think it's so prestigious and beautiful. And now I got that chance!

Is it me or other people who is weird coz the participants only 3 (THREE) people and all of us are female! But it's great coz the couch being fully attention to us. Every step we take, etc... It's sooo great!

It's Friday and It's Stupid!

Dunno why but I'm glad coz this morning I woke up with a very grateful feeling. It's weird because I shouldn't be happy since last night heard that annoying plan from him. But I feel really excited to seize the day.

As usual, I woke up at 5 then take a bath about an hour then get prepared, then go to office. I like to wear sandal while driving a car, but the stupid thing happened today is actually it's already came on my mind before, and as usual I always ignore it. Then it really happens!!! I forgot to wear shoes to the office!

Lucky me, the sandal I wear is looks like half shoes, so I hope I could wear this in the whole day. Coz I have spare shoes in the office but it's brown, while my out fit is dark purple and black. It so NOT match if I wear BROWN shoes, right?

I really hope there is no meeting to day so I don't have to appear like a moron...

Mau mabok rasanya dari kemaren gak kelar2... huhuhuhuhuhu.... Mata sampe jereng, Google translate sampe hang... Babel Fish apa lagi translationnya malah lebih ngaco... Hix,... Frustrated moi,...

Mana masih banyak kerjaan lain yang tight dead line... huhuhuhuhu... HELP!!!!

Ditambah setelah diliat2, di halaman "About Rhea" ada sedikit salah ketik. "Years All" harusnya "Years Old"... Tapi maaf ya temans kayaknya blom bisa dibenerin dalam waktu dekat ini.. hix,.

Incredible Monday

First of all I want to greet one of my very best friend who celebrates his b'day yesterday on Monday, 180808. Have a very happy b'day Nando!!! Wishing U all the best always!!!

On Monday, I really spent almost my whole day on the way. First I went to skyline building to have lunch and to park my car while I'm going to Tanah Abang. There is a little funny accident happened in skyline building. I was at the cartel cafe after having a bite of ribs I feel something not good in my stomach so suddenly I went to the rest room without reading any sign on the door. I spent quite long time on the rest room. Then when I've done, I wash my hand on the washtafle when located in front of the rest room door. Then after my hands washed, I turned around to go back to my table but at that time I saw a sign in front of the rest room's door. It signed, "GENTLEMEN". OO... oooppppssss. Lucky me there was no one there when I was in there!

From the skyline building I went to FX Sudirman. We were there just to see a painting exhibition. I saw cute Casio watch there. It's white color and the numbers are white too. It really cool! But I don't think it's wise enough to buy that things while I still have many things to be bought as priority. But if some of you want to buy me that watch, of course I really... really will accept it with an open arms!

We didn't spent so many time at FX then we went to Gunung Agung Kwitang. Mom wants to fing a 30,000 years horse book. But the book was sold out at Kwitang then the sales man suggest us to find it at Senayan City. When we ask them to call the Senayan City, they say they can't do it. Huh,, what a close-fisted!!

Then we went to Senayan City which means we were going back to the same area as FX where we were before!!!! Arghhh!!! And perfectly, the book is also sold out at TGA Senayan City! Then at last we dicided to go to TGA MKG. And guess what?!?!?! We found the book at TGA Mall Kelapa GAding 3 which is only 5 minutes from my house!!! After a very looong journey finally we found that book at the nearest place at our home!!! What a day!

Finally www.rheys.com is launched!!!!

Finally, after design it for a quite long time. Upload it, edit it, delete it, and upload it again... edit it, and delete it... again... again... and again.... Finally rheys.com is officially launched!!! Even though there is still a little error in "Poems" page which it shouldn't appear that way but if you click the link, the link fortunately linked to the right site! You may enjoy my new cyber home while I'm going to updated it to be a PERFECT website!

Yippie!!!!

Finally, after a month long waiting, last night my mom let me buy Mac Book 2.4 with my dad!
Actually, I should buy it next week, buy my mom said, it's okay if I want to buy it now!

Then I went to iBox EX, but Mac Book 2.4 White if out, there is just Mac Book 2.4 Black and Mac Book 2.1. I was soooo disappointed. But I won't give up so I went to iBox MKG3, and it's also the same. They only have Mac Book 2.4 Black and 2.1. The price is quite much different with same specification only the black color makes it more expensive 2 million IDR. They don't know when the white one will come, then I decided to buy the Black one buy cover it with light purple cover sticker so it still looks pretty!

Then finally I bought Mac Book 2.4 Black in iBox MKG3. I got speaker for the bonus. And the sales man also give me NeoOffice and YM for Mac installed on my Mac Book!

Finally Buy a Domain!

After considering for sometimes, finally I have decided to by a domain. But it still in the process now. So you'd better wait for the progress!!!

Basic Astronomy Course

Last night I started to attend Basic Astronomy Course. Well, since younger I always excited to learn about our solar system, about universe. Even when I want to go to college I ever thought to take astronomy class, but then I decided to take computer science coz it more popular at that time. But now I realize popular subject doesn't mean a thing if you don't really like it. So I have to struggle finish my computer science for 4 years. And now I ever thinking to take master degree in astronomy which people thing it's impossible or useless. Well, I won't take the gamble anyway, so I think starting with taking the course will be good for me coz later I can decide to stay in my line (Technical Writer) or take the new line (Astronomy).

I ever read a biography about woman of Nasa whose back ground is Computer Science and she even has a same career with me too as Technical Writer before she join the Nasa. No one knows when and where miracles will come... Hoping it's me the next woman is!

Let Your Heart Speaks

On Friday there was a quite huge accident happened to me! I give my primary phone to him for couple days because his phone is still in the service in the consideration I still have the other phone. But it this case, I'm totally forgotten that my other phone has run out of battery and I really.., really didn't realize it until I've left alone in the office (he has meeting @7PM).

I gave him my phone at about 06.30 PM so I told him not to turn on the phone now but he should spare sometimes to avoid the phone hang because it's been turn on and off in the very tight frequency. But I really forgot about the phone lock.

Couple hours later... I was waiting for my mom but it's already almost 8PM she hasn't here yet and there even no message from her. Then I checked my phone. Then....

OMG.... at first I thought the light was off but it's been locked. But when I tried to unlocked-it I realize that my phone has shut off automatically because it is run of battery!!!

I spent some more minute to think what should I do. May be let it off ten minutes or so can turns it on again. Well, my assumption was right for a while. When I checked my bag, there was a light shining through the darkness in my black bag, then I reached my phone and YES it was turned on. I receive a message from a friend text me: "Rhea, he asks the Phone Lock"

When I want to reply the message, tetttowwww.... "The battery is too low. Recharge soon. The phone will automatically shut down"...

Ok, now I really in trouble! I gave my primary phone to him to make us easy to communicate, but look what happen?!?!?!?

Then I went back to my office and tried the best to text them (my mom and my friend who text me). But there is no delivery report. I became more frustrated, then I saw there is some people at ops, then I ask to allow me send a text message to my mom, then luckily they let me did that! But I only text my mom, not also my friend. I realize that when I have left the office to wait for my mom near the street.

I've waited from an hour but there is still no sign. Then I started doubt either the SMS was delivered or not. Then I'm starting to loose my pride... I look at the people who cross near me who hold a phone. I want to get to them and ask them to borrow the handset. Then the choice pointed to the security guard!

I asked him to borrow his hand set, then I use my card on it and call my mom. I also tried to call my friend, then he said, "I'm already on the way home. I'm not with him anymore. I'm sorry, I didn't check the incoming SMS" *VERY GOOD!!!!!*

All I've done is worthless...
I only have 1 hope left... I hope my heart can be connected to his heart... I say that phone lock number every second and wishing it will come to him. He will discover it...

@09.00 I borrow my dad's phone, I place my SIM card on it, and suddenly... a text message coming... and it's from him!!! He has successfully discover the phone lock number!!! Yippie!!!

I think when we have a great faith on something, there is something called MIRACLE exist! I think it is true that our heart can say a word and can be connected to someone's heart...
